During my travels i love taking photos to people, and the places where they live. South-east asia, is a never ending source of simple and very expressive subjects. In their apparent “poverty”, they usually reveal a great simpathy and just avoiding the touristic destinations, I always discover places that seem to have remained in a far away time.
Ulisse Donnini 2011-2012

I don’t think, that digital, either than traditional photography, is one better than the other, but when i take photos, during my travels, i love using films that were in shops already 30 years ago.
When I come back from a travel i always realize that, even after years of digital evolutions, traditional films still give, to reportage images, a great depth and make them, much more realistic than many digital images, after too much postproduction.
These photos were shot on 50 iso color slides, and on 400 iso black and white negatives, using 14mm, 50mm and 100mm lenses.
